Bolton Little Theatre - Amateur Dramatics

Is it at all possible to have Bolton Little Theatres details on your website updated to:

Bolton Little Theatre, established in 1931, is an amateur group with charity status and relies on box office takings, membership fees and charitable donations to pay for the upkeep of the Theatre. Bolton Little Theatre presents at least eight full length productions a year as well as "touring" some of its productions. 2006-07 will be our 75th anniversary season.

The original building was an industrial forge and was given to the Trustees in 1934 for the establishment of a theatre for amateur productions for the people of Bolton. The original theatre had seating for over 250. In 1989 major renovations were carried out, the main auditorium being divided into two separate theatres, the main stage whose auditorium now seats 165 in traditional rows and the Forge, an intimate theatre in the round with seating for 60.

The theatre has a comfortable bar and exhibition area where one can enjoy a pre- performance drink, or mingle with the cast after the show.

We anticipate the usual big demand for our performances, so do book early to avoid disappointment. New members are particularly welcome, come along to any Monday evening Club Night and introduce yourself. The theatre is a member of the Greater Manchester Drama Federation and The Little Theatre Guild of Great Britain.

Bolton Little Theatre is located in Hanover Street, Bolton, adjacent to the main bus interchange and is well signposted from the town centre.
